New York: In an increasing artificial intelligence (AI) landscape the race for the chip manufacturing is going to be crucial to call the reigns. NVIDIA has been on the forefront of this manufacturing and in a breakthrough update the company’s CEO Jensen Hueng launched the new Blackwell Chips at GTC Conference in San Jose, Calif.
As reported by CNBC, Jensen Hueng in the conference unveiled the new AI processors called Blackwell. Called the GB200, the chips are set to roll out later this year. NVIDIA has dominated the chip market with its Hopper H100s but it is time for the next gen.
“Hopper is fantastic but we need bigger GPUs”, said Jensen Hueng CEO of NVIDIA. Ever since the advent of ChatGPT in 2022, NVIDIA’s stock has risen five times. The H100s have been in heavy demand by big tech firms, the new Blackwel GB200 are going to create a huge demand in the market.
