New York: Artificial Intelligence (AI) is slowly transitioning itself to being a medical remedy as well as Genexia Health, a Cincinnati based health firm is using AI to aid early diagnosis of heart diseases so as to mitigate risks related to heart.
According to a report by WPCO 9 news the Cincinnati based company is working on an AI solution which makes early detection of coronary artery disease possible in women worldwide. Kelly Cohen, Co-founder of the firm has confirmed that they are using AI in mammograms to image breasts so as to monitor potential risks like Cancer and cardiovascular diseases.
The company plans to go further and beyond with its AI approach and are planning to role out clinical trials of their mammograph scans on 2000 women. AI is touted as the future in many industries and withs its foray into medicine, it will be interesting to see how it performs in a field which has marginal room for errors.
