California: There have long been dreams and talks about a future in which Artificial Intelligence can think and work like the Human Brain. The talks have hinted towards a distant future but according to NVIDIA Chief Executive Jensen Huang, the reality of Artificial General Intelligence can be closer.
Reuters reported that Huang addressing an economic forum at Stanford University was of the opinion that AGI can be ready in the next five years. The key behind this depends on how one views the equation, If the requirement is about answering specialised human tests then, Huang assures that in the next five years, AI will be able to answer those tests.
This will be a significant step towards complete AGI according to Huang. AGI or Artificial General Intelligence is the representation of general cognitive abilities in AI software. In simpler terms, it is the ability of AI to think and act like humans to solve problems.
