Washington: Microsoft has revealed that it is going to roll out a new update on its AI assistant Copilot. The bot will act as a research assistant for Microsoft 365 users in the new update slated to launch in late April.
As per The Verge, the latest sneak peak released by the Corporation, Copilot will be able to find, summarise and extract information from different types of files uploaded on OneDrive. The feature will be able to go through files like text documents, pdfs, HDMLs, spreadsheets and presentations.
The update is important for Microsoft as it focuses on revitalising OneDrive by the use of its landmark AI feature. This further helps the corp gain an advantage in the AI space over competitors like Google, Open AI and X.
