Society

London: The advent of AI has been detrimental to educational institutes as over the last 18 months Universities have received multitude of student assignments that have been done with the use AI.

According to a report by Daily Mail, the Universities have cracked a way to track AI assignments. Philipp Dawson a professor from Deakin University has revealed that if the student doesn’t use the right prompts, doesn’t change the language of the response, doesn’t do his/her own background result then Turnitin AI can easily flag the work as AI.

Additionally the report also states that Sydney University and University of NSW have had more than 300 assignments submitted through AI last year. Botht the universities have implemented lax grading and Sydeny Univerisity spokesperson has come out that a closer look and human analysis of the assignment can tell whether the output is by the student or machine based.
